While we were open for pre-ordered sales yesterday in 78°, we opened for walk up sales this morning on a chilly 45° afternoon—welcome to Kansas!
We had a major windstorm yesterday—50+ mph winds that dropped us 30° by this morning. And it just happened to be our first Friday pick up day for pre-ordered eggs. Everything went according to plan except my carton return container flew the coop—and my Egg Stand signage fell off (though those were not lost). It’s funny to think about the yard the carton return might have ended up in 100 miles away.
Did you notice the new egg cartons? I love these colored egg cartons—1) they are so cute and 2) they are so functional in keeping the eggs safe and 3) they are easy to open/close compared to the plastic ones I was using. Interested in the colored pulp egg cartons? See the product link below.

We’re Open for the Season!
Happy International Women’s Day to you all! As a small business owner (my egg stand/influencer stuff—and a counseling practice—my actual day job), I am proud to serve my community and elevate women.
Our modest little egg stand is officially open for the 2025 season. While starting off with just eggs, we hope to add our produce, baked goods, and even honey to the stand later this season. Be the first to know when new products land by following our Facebook page.
Allow Me to Introduce Myself
Hey —I’m Crystal—the woman behind Best Day Egg Stand—and it’s great to meet you.
Spring is Coming!
Don’t let the green grass fool you—it is still only March 1. But the warm weather lately has me dreaming about opening the egg stand again soon. In fact, you should expect it to be open at least once per week starting next week (if the weather holds out). As our new chicks from last season continue to lay and our older girls are beginning again, we have a surplus of eggs. Check our our new Facebook page which will feature up to the minute egg availability and pricing as well as pick up details. Spring is coming!
